I am very sad to tell you that Jerez was put down on Thursday night. He had a bout of colic & could not overcome it. The last twelve months of his life he ran with his band of mares & certainly enjoyed the privilages of a range stallion! During the last month his new son - a first cross out of a lovely morgan x tb, ran in the herd, & Jerez was so gentle with young Benito.

Still expected this year by Jerez is another two foals - one pure andalusian & an australian andalusian. He had also re-covered the morgan cross & served another pure PRE andalusian. Hopefully all foals come along safely & the two mares this year have taken. That way Jerez's legacy will live on.
